Over the last two decades we have seen a growing interest in the work of contemporary African artists, which have become an integral part of the global artistic community.

It is time to recognize the African Universe, a kaleidoscopic universe able to speak to the whole world, although made up of complex visual and cultural codes.

Africa Universe is a project composed of three chapters, for each of which there will be an exhibition dedicated to a particular artist.

The first exhibition will focus on the work of Januario Jano, a multidisciplinary Angolan artist. The second chapter is dedicated to Troy Makaza, a young artist from Zimbabwe. The third chapter ends with Cristiano Mangovo, an Angolan artist.

All the artists present in the exhibition Africa Universe translate on canvas their experiences, personal and universal at the same time, with artistic languages and excellent modes of expression. Today, these are the personalities who determine and shape the contours of the global artistic debate.
