The D’ARC Foundation opens its autumn programme with AMORE CHIAMA COLORE, a group exhibition that draws from the Foundation’s collection and activates a dialogue with works by artists invited for the occasion. The show explores the role of colour, investigating not only its technical properties but also the layered meanings it can evoke—from the emotional to the political.
At the heart of the exhibition lies a work from the collection, Amore chiama colore IV (1956) by Piero Dorazio, which serves as a conceptual point of departure. From this anchor unfolds a presentation that, for the first time, brings together a selection of new acquisitions by artists including John Armleder, Monia Ben Hamouda, Ross Bleckner, Abdoulaye Konaté, Samuel Nnorom, and Odili Donald Odita. These works are shown alongside pieces already held in the collection, among them works by Alfonso Fratteggiani Bianchi and Tadasky.
