Primo Marella Gallery is proud to announce that Joël Andrianomearisoa has been named finalist for the Prix Marcel Duchamp 2026.
The winner will be announced on October 22 during Paris Art Week, ten days before the opening of the exhibition presenting the finalists’ works at the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris (on view through February 14, 2027).
Joël Andrianomearisoa, among the duo David Brognon and Stéphanie Rollin, Laura Henno, and Josèfa Ntjam, was selected by a jury chaired by Xavier Rey, Director of the Musée National d’Art Moderne at the Centre Pompidou. The commission also included Claude Bonnin, collector and member of ADIAF—Association pour la diffusion internationale de l’art français (organizer of the prize); museum director Fabrice Hergott; Spanish collector Fernando Arriola; artists Kader Attia and Berlinde De Bruyckere; Karin Hindsbo, Director of Tate Modern, London; Christophe Leribault, President of the Palace of Versailles; and Franco-Beninese collector Marie-Cécile Zinsou.
