Joël Andrianomearisoa on view at SAMoCA, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia with a group exhibition "A Night of a Lifetime"

The artist presents Legends of Daylight, a sculptural work in silk paper and light, as part of a project curated by Philippe Castro and Alaa Tarabzouni.

From January 26 to April 18, 2026, the Saudi Arabia Museum of Contemporary Art (SAMoCA) in Riyadh will host A Night of a Lifetime, a group exhibition exploring the wedding ceremony as both a celebratory and contemplative experience through the lens of contemporary art.

Among the participating artists, Joël Andrianomearisoa presents Legends of Daylight (350 × 500 cm per panel; silk paper, neon lights, and wood; 2023, courtesy of the artist), a sculptural work that combines light and material to evoke a suspended, poetic atmosphere.

Curated by Philippe Castro and Alaa Tarabzouni, the exhibition invites visitors to journey through rituals, symbols, and personal narratives, highlighting the tension between collective celebration and individual introspection.
