Beyond The Walls
Aditya Novali
Aditya’s installations invite the viewer to interact with them. Jim Supangkat, Indonesian critic and curator, describes Aditya’s pieces as “rotable paintings”. The artist delivers part of his authority on the artworks to the audience entrusted with an active role. The public interplays with the installations to create different visual combinations.
The artworks shown in the exhibition take into consideration issues as functionality and motion, that the artist skilfully associates with his self-critic and analytic reading of the socio-political reality.
