This major and ambitious exhibition marks a significant milestone in Sicioldr’s career, presenting a compelling body of work in one of Asia’s most vibrant art capitals.
On this occasion, Alessandro will unveil a new series of previously unseen works, shown alongside a selection of his most celebrated earlier pieces—masterworks that, for the first time, will be exhibited in Asia. This unique presentation creates a dialogue between past and present, offering a comprehensive view of the artist’s evolving language and deep inner world.
Gleam of a Silent Ecstasy opens a contemplative space in the heart of Seoul, one of the world’s most fast-paced and technologically driven cities. Through meticulously crafted paintings that echo Renaissance and Flemish influences while remaining wholly contemporary, Sicioldr invites viewers into a dreamlike dimension—where the subconscious, memory, and imagination converge. In this silent world, beauty reveals itself slowly, like a glow suspended in the void. His work resists speed and spectacle, asking instead for stillness, introspection, and faith in the ineffable—a revolutionary gesture in our time.
