Primo Marella Gallery is pleased to announce that Joël Andrianomearisoa has been shortlisted for the next High Line Plinth commission in New York.

 

Sentimental Garden is a monument that proposes emotion as a shared language and a site of collective meaning. Developed through a participatory process inviting people to name their favorite flower, each answer is then translated into a sculptural form, with the responses assembled into a unified installation.

Crafted in aluminum, the work balances fragility and permanence, forming a collective portrait shaped by sentiment, memory, and exchange.

 

The selected proposals are currently open to public voting until September 8th, 2026..
